Initiating a Return

Before returning any item, you must receive confirmation from our Customer Care team that the category of goods can be accepted.

Consumer Contracts Regulations

Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations, you have 14 calendar days from the date you receive your complete order to notify us if you are not completely satisfied with any items.

To complete your refund, we must receive the items you wish to return within 7 calendar days of your email notification. Please note, you are responsible for any postage costs incurred when returning items. We cannot refund postage costs on returned orders.

Items must be returned in the condition you received them, including any hygiene seals intact. You lose the right to return an item if you unseal a product that needs to be sealed for health or hygiene reasons.

As a registered pharmacy, we are required to destroy any medications sent back to us, so please be mindful of this when placing and returning orders.

The Consumer Contracts Regulations allow us to reduce your refund if returned non-faulty items are damaged or used. The reduction will depend on the decrease in the item's value. If your use means the items cannot be resold, this reduction may be 100%.

How to Return Items

To begin the returns process, email info@meds4you.co.uk. If your return meets the correct category, you will receive instructions on how to return your order. Return your unwanted or damaged items by post within 7 days of receiving your returns form.

Ensure your package contains your order information. Obtain a "Proof of Postage" from the Post Office to resolve any issues if your order is lost in the postal system.

ProtectMyOrder

For an additional fee at checkout, ProtectMyOrder provides peace of mind in the following circumstances:

  • Theft/mis-delivered: If tracking shows as delivered but you haven't received it, we will resend or refund within 2-3 working days.
  • Damage during transit: If the item arrives damaged or marked, we will offer a quick solution.
  • Loss during delivery: If your parcel is stuck in tracking for more than 5 days, we will resend or refund.

This service is in addition to our standard services and forms part of our contract upon payment of the additional fee.

Damaged and Faulty Items

The Consumer Rights Act 2015 allows you to claim a refund for faulty goods within 30 days of receipt. We may offer to replace or repair the item free of charge. If the replacement or repaired item is also faulty, you can claim a refund, including any postal charges.

This does not apply to items that have failed due to wear and tear. Check any additional manufacturer's warranties for electrical items for additional rights.

Processing Refunds

Refunds are processed once we receive your returned items. Refunds are credited to the original payment methods and will take 5-7 working days to appear in your account, depending on your card provider.

Refund Exclusions

You cannot return Pharmacy-Only medicines or items with broken hygiene seals. You can reasonably inspect items as you would in a shop but cannot return used items unless they are damaged or faulty.

We are not responsible for items lost or damaged in the post. Ensure your items are securely packaged and obtain proof of posting. Allow 3-5 working days for your goods to reach us. We do not provide exchanges for goods returned by post. Allow 14 days to receive your refund. Safely dispose of broken glass before returning an item to us.

Incorrect details provided when placing an order cannot be adjusted once processed. Ensure all details are correct when placing an order.

Cancellation Policy

At Meds4You, we strive to process and dispatch orders quickly. Therefore, note the following cancellation policy:

  • Order Approval: Once approved by our pharmacy team, an order cannot be cancelled due to our commitment to fast dispatch times.
  • Unapproved Orders: If your order has not been approved, you may request a cancellation by contacting our customer service team. We will do our best to accommodate your request but cannot guarantee cancellation if the order is already in the approval process.

Liability

Our maximum liability for failing to fulfill an order will be limited to the price paid by you for that order.
